Atty. Sy obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, where he graduated with Second Honors and ranked 8th in his graduating class.

In 2021, he was one of the 21 law students selected nationwide who were awarded a merit-based legal scholarship from the Foundation of Liberty and Prosperity, which is headed by former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban.

He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022 as an Exemplary Passer.

Atty. Sy was previously an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of one of the biggest law firms in the country.

He is part of the Litigation and Corporate Law Departments of the Firm.
