The COMELEC, through Resolution No. 10695, has prescribed the following calendar of activities in connection with the 2022 national and local elections.

| Start of posting of the Tentative List of Candidates at the COMELEC Website | 29 October 2021 |
| Last day for the Substitute of an Official Candidate of a political party or coalition who withdrew, died, or was disqualified by final judgment, to file a Certificate of Candidacy in order to reflect the name of the substitute on the official ballot | 15 November 2021 |
| Election Period | 9 January 2022 to 8 June 2022 |
| Election Day | 9 May 2022 |
