The COMELEC, through Resolution No. 10695, has prescribed the following calendar of activities in connection with the 2022 national and local elections.

Start of posting of the Tentative List of Candidates at the COMELEC Website | 29 October 2021 |
Last day for the Substitute of an Official Candidate of a political party or coalition who withdrew, died, or was disqualified by final judgment, to file a Certificate of Candidacy in order to reflect the name of the substitute on the official ballot | 15 November 2021 |
Election Period | 9 January 2022 to 8 June 2022 |
Election Day | 9 May 2022 |
